(PEORIA) State Senator Dale Risinger (R-Peoria) and State Representative David Leitch (R-Peoria) will jointly hold a Town Meeting in Germantown Hills at the Town Hall 216 Holland Road from 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2006.
The legislators are inviting the public and the media to join them as they listen to the views of citizens they represent and take questions on state government matters. Refreshments will be provided. After the Town Hall Meeting, Senator Risinger and Representative Leitch will attend the Village Public Hearings scheduled at 7:30 p.m., also at the Town Hall.
“Town Hall meetings are a tried and true method of providing citizens an opportunity to express their views and ask questions of their elected officials,” said Risinger. “I am pleased to join Representative Leitch in this Town Meeting for the people of Woodford County.”
